Michael studied engineering and made his living in the engineering consulting field. But, like many post-modern people, he was disillusioned with modern ‘successes’ and sought something more than the answers he got from engineering. So he studied theology and found himself drawn more and more into the mystical traditions of many religions.
He’s written two books – one non-fiction and one fiction. And he has another few up his sleeve. He’s the creator of The Seven Aspects of Spiritual Intelligence, a program that helps people reach their highest intelligence.
He is a husband and a father of three. And his mission in life is to love.
His mystical writing keeps him busy… but not too busy to spend a lot of time with his three kids and his wife.
His second wife, that is.
Because his first wife died of Huntington’s disease… a cruel, genetic disease that slowly robbed her of everything until she took her last breath staring into the room around him. He believes he still spends a lot of time with her as well… family is important to him, in this world and the next.
He believes in the mystery of life and he is in awe of this world. He believes in more than he can see or touch or hear.
He says, “It is something that calls out to me from beyond. I don’t know what exactly it is but it is there in the emptiness when nothing else means much. When nothing else counts for much. It sends my soul into exquisite peace in the darkness and the silence of my deepest self. It is inexplicable and unfathomable. But the closest I can get to naming it is this: the silent whisper of love.”
